May be Bitwarden isn't for me, but I also don't want to risk staying with LastPass. Feels like backwards thinking, as if using pigeons instead of an e-mail. So now, if I do want to add family premium features I have to wait for someone to respond to me before we can even proceed in updating the plan. Bitwarden has free personal and business plans, and the paid personal Premium (10/year per user) and Families (40/year for up to six users) plans are affordably priced compared to its competitors. The Free tier allows you to sync an unlimited number of vault items across multiple devices.

I may have a little bit click happy to purchase what I thought was a bargain of a plan, just to see that there was an option to add Premium features checkbox and yet click Buy button instead. Bitwarden offers three plans at the consumer level: Free, Premium, and Family. I'm also confused as to why I cannot modify my Plan without contacting Customer Support. It sucks that LastPass is being bought out by who knows companies, its features are apparently quite hard to replace. Bitwarden’s free version lacks native multifactor authentication, although you can still use third-party solutions like Authy or Google Authenticator. I'm trying to get out of LastPass, but holy cow, I didn't think I'd have to pay just to share a password securely with someone. For employees who use a Bitwarden enterprise plan at work, Bitwarden now grants a free subscription to a families plan, valued at 40/year. However, I didn't realize, at least the information I was reading wasn't clear enough that Family Plan is just there to allow you to share your passwords with up to 5 people without any Premium features on top. All Bitwarden Enterprise Users Get a Free Families Plan. This isn't to say that Bitwarden is a poor password manager, it seems to work fairly well for open source and being free to start.
